Denbigh Mens Hockey Club was formed in 1997, winning North Wales Division 3 in our first full season. The club continued to progress through the North Wales league, expanding to a second 11 in 2001. After 9 seasons that included a spell in the North West league and two North Wales Division 1 Championships, the club folded as North Wales league champions in 2006.
The club re-formed in 2008 and, strengthened by returning and new players, has won consecutive promotions from the Kukri North West Division 10 (2009/2010) and North West Division 9 (2010/2011). This season our first 11 will compete in North West Divison 8 (South) with our second 11 entering the North West league structure in Division 11.
We welcome players of all ages, abilities and experience and encourage anybody interested in joining the club to come along to training at Denbigh Leisure Centre, every Wednesday 20.00-21.30. Junior sessions (under 14s) are held every Saturday morning at Denbigh Leisure Centre from 09.00-10.30.
